Amanda Waterhouse is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and the University of Houston Law Center. She has been practicing immigration law since 2007. Ms. Waterhouse is a founding partner of Waterhouse Dominguez & Strom, PLLC, which opened in May of 2021. Her previous experience includes 12 years at Reina & Bates Immigration & Nationality Law, where she rose to the position of senior associate, and two years at Gonzalez Olivieri, LLC, where she served as Supervising Attorney and Head of Litigation until departing to found her own firm. Ms. Waterhouse is admitted to the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the Supreme Court of the United States. She is also a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of Texas Pro Bono College, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She serves as chair of the AILA Federal Court Litigation Steering Committee.
